Mr Rolex

An amazing new release inspired by Rolex.The long number shows the coordinates of Geneve, the city where the first Rolex store opened. The member since date, shows the date of when the first store opened in Geneve. The artwork is made on aluminium and added in goldfoil, later the coordinates and name are cut out and placed by hand on top of the artwork what creates a stunning 3D effect. The artwork is finished with several layers of epoxy. By adding these layers Van Apple is able to create an innovative and unique mix-media artwork.
